What happened
Texas Tech beat Abilene Christian 33-10 and moved to 1-0, which on paper is exactly what a season opener is for. The fanbase filed it under evidence instead. The turn came somewhere in the final three minutes, when whatever was happening on the broadcast became the main event — one fan asking "what the hell where the announcers on the last 3 minutes of the game?" while insisting the "offense is still regressing." Elsewhere, "still no hold called on the edge." Three touchdowns clear, and the complaints have already picked their angles.
