What happened
Nebraska opened against Ohio and won 49-21, which is roughly what a 1-0 start against Ohio is supposed to look like. The turning point was the moment the outcome stopped being in doubt and the fanbase, freed from caring about the scoreboard, went looking for something else to be angry about. They found a running back retreating into traffic — "Why the fuck are you going backwards. Take what you can get" — and then they found 2015. "The worst thing Nebraska ever did was hire Mike Riley." Undefeated, still litigating.
