What happened
Michigan went to Minneapolis and came home 3-2 after a 20-14 loss, and the turning point wasn't a snap so much as a realization: the freshman quarterback everyone wants to love isn't playing well enough to love. One fan threaded that needle perfectly, noting Bryce Underwood is "the nicest guy and treats people extremely well around campus," then adding the part that hurts. Another has moved on entirely, declaring "I'm out on Whit." Misery climbed from 76 to 81. Being likable has never scored points.
