A 28-point road rout, and the room still watched for the fold like two decades of scar tissue demanded.
The emotional rollercoaster
Miami fans’ misery during the game, every 15 minutes. Up is worse.
What happened
Miami went to Clemson and left with a 41-13 win, which pushed the record to 5-0 and dropped the misery index from 90 to 53. That is the turning point: a road beating of a traditional tormentor, delivered without much suspense. The fanbase still found the trapdoor. One called it a "Very Miami thing to let them score to make it still close," then wondered aloud whether twenty years of scar tissue was doing the talking. Another admitted that "Just completely ignoring that is exhausting." Winning, apparently, requires maintenance.

“Very Miami thing to let them score to make it still close. We 100% can still fold if they get momentum. Or I’m just a scarred Miami fan over the past two decades”
