The emotional rollercoaster
Iowa State fans’ misery during the game, every 15 minutes. Up is worse.
What happened
Iowa State beat West Virginia 45-42 on Saturday, which sounds fine until you account for how the fanbase spent the afternoon. Somewhere in the middle of it, one Cyclones fan was typing "If we fucking lose this game Raynor better be on the bench next game..." while another had already filed the season away with "We're gonna win 3 games this year huh." The win arrived, 3-2 arrived, and the misery number dropped from 50 to 34. Content, apparently, is a three-point game nobody enjoyed.
