Somehow 4-0 after a one-point win in Ann Arbor, and the room is still litigating a punt and a timeout.
The emotional rollercoaster
Iowa fans’ misery during the game, every 15 minutes. Up is worse.
What happened
Iowa won in Ann Arbor, 20-19, moved to 4-0, and somehow the mood got worse. Misery climbed from 37 to 60 on the back of a road upset, which is its own kind of achievement. The turning point wasn't a snap but a decision: a fourth down left unattempted, prompting one Hawk fan to ask "how the FUCK do you not go for it in 4th?" A called timeout drew similar reviews: "Whit that was a stupid fucking timeout." Undefeated, and still arguing about the brakes.
