A three-point win in Austin, and the room spent it litigating horse collars and calling Texas classless.
The emotional rollercoaster
Florida fans’ misery during the game, every 15 minutes. Up is worse.
What happened
Florida went to Austin and left with a 27-24 win, which should have been enough to make a fanbase forget a 97 on the misery scale seven days earlier. It mostly was. The turning point was simply surviving the fourth quarter in a stadium where this program usually doesn't. Still, the postgame talk was less about 5-2 than about the officiating and the opponent, who "reminds me of Greg Schiano's Bucs teams. Classless shit." A road win, and somehow a grievance. Progress looks strange here.
