What happened
Clemson won, which is technically the point of playing, and the fanbase came away looking like it had attended a funeral. The 22-7 result over Georgia Southern pushed the Tigers to 1-1, and the turning point was the moment it became clear the offense would not score a touchdown against a Sun Belt visitor. One fan called it "the worst game of football I've ever seen." Another went further: "This might be Dabo's worst team. We may not make a bowl game." Misery dipped to 81. Progress, apparently.
